Skill Posters

If you're a member here at TRICKS then your child has a skill poster. Your child's coach takes a picture the first day they are in their class and then within one or two weeks, your coach will give you the picture to put on the skill poster. You might get your poster before the picture but ideally, they would be together when given to you.
Skill posters are a great way for you to keep up with your child's progress at home. Once a month, usually the fourth week, your child's coach will write down some numbers on the coloring paper handed out at the end of class. These numbers correlate with the skill poster. We give you little star stickers to put on the poster over the number of the skill passed off.
When all of the skills are passed off on your current chart, your child will graduate to the next level!
Graduation means getting a certificate and a ribbon! We hope that all of these fun things will become childhood treasures of accomplishment and recognition.
These are some pictures from the skill posters.

Welcome 2009!

Hi Everybody!
Sorry we've been gone for so long. It was a very busy holiday season for TRICKS.
We presented 12 holiday performances for the Littlest Nutcracker and Making
Spirits Bright. All of the shows were at the Folsom High School theater.
A huge thanks to our dance director, Jennifer Currie and her amazing staff of
teachers!
We also put on 102 winter wonderland shows for ALL of our gymnasts!!!
Frosty attended most but this year we also had Penny the Polar Bear visit in
Sacramento. We love those moments when your child gets to show off what they
have learned. The look of confidence that beams out through their eyes is what we
all live for.
We are looking forward to a great year!
